St Brigid's School

St Brigid's is not recognised by the Bishops of England and Wales as a Catholic school. 

A number of years ago St Brigid’s chose not to be part of the Catholic Diocese of Wrexham and this means that we cannot verify the teaching, curriculum, collective worship, sacramental preparation or Catholic ethos of the school. The school is not part of the local Catholic cluster of schools and nor is it inspected by our Catholic inspectors under Section 50. 

 

Catholic schools in England and Wales follow the RE curriculum directory and also the Collective Worship Directory agreed by the Bishops’ Conference to ensure a Catholic education. This is not the case at St Brigids.
